A Look at My Students Notes

A Look at my student's Notes

This is a place where students pause,

to attend, to perceive, and to explore.

I used to grade with great care

my student's notes.

They let me see their presence,

they showed they had discovered

a new world a new way.

 Students already following a dream.

They were not passive learners anymore,

they open to the world

thousand of possibilities

were given consideration and more.

A behavioral neuroscience study conducted by researchers at the University of California and Princeton University published in 2014 showed that students who take notes write thoughts, and sketch ideas by hand perform better with conceptual questions, and increased problem-solving,  than other people who don’t record notes or sketch ideas.

According to the study, one explanation for this exciting discovery is that writing, drawing, doodle with pencil and paper allows people to summarize and organize information in their own words and ensures more profound and natural coding and understanding of their surroundings. In contrast, the no use of a pen or the use of electronic devices inclines them to think passively.

The importance and the value here is that schools and their staff are in complete awareness of the gains and the significance of these quality experiences.  Students are in need of this kind of support and understanding. Moreover, the project will bring great outcomes if everyone is part of the moment in our student’s history. That is why is essential and imperative that the administration, as well as faculty, a...

My State Wild Flowers - Expressing art through nature - 4th - 8th grades

My State Wild Flowers Art Activity The Wild Flower A  wildflower  (or  wild flower ) is a flower that grows in the wild, meaning it was not intentionally seeded or planted. Yet "wildflower" meadows of a few mixed species are sold in seed packets. The term "wildflower" has been made vague by commercial seedsmen who are interested in selling more flowers or seeds more expensively than when labeled with only their name and/or origin. The term implies that the plant probably is neither a hybrid nor a selected cultivar that is in any way different from the way it appears in the wild as a native plant, even if it is growing where it would not naturally. Focus Works of Art The Wildflower – When nature presents us with the most beautiful pieces of art and where students will be more likely to find inspiration, promote creativity and learn about their world and its magical ways. Utah Wildflowers will inspire new techniques, the us...
