In every experience, students remember those elements of art (color, texture, space, shape, and line), with awareness, identifying and controlling their existence and their value within the piece of art.
These Elements and Principles are always present in any work of art or design, regardless of whether it is aesthetically pleasing to some or not.
Not forgetting the importance of students knowing and understanding how the science of art and design works. Students should understand how to use every tool given and, very importantly, have a critical eye capable of observing any piece of art.
Starting
Students are to write a list or story of significant memories, events, or daydreams. When the story has been written, students brainstorm. With the use of sketches, they identify specific components in their stories. For example, the student has written something like this: "It was a hot day and there were a lot of annoying mosquitoes." Students can easily use a mosquito as one of the objects in the composition. They will realize that almost every other line, form, or shape contains its meaning; therefore, a power in the making of the art. A form, or an object, is to be used as part of the whole artistic composition. Their imagination has given them many answers, just by teaching them to look closer and be comfortable with their very personal skills.

First:
The exercise of drawing should be done looking at and owning the area of work, being aware of the style and media to be used. Recognize if artists are prompted to work in a crowded minimalist space or a balanced use of their area of work, as well as an asymmetrical or symmetrical organization.
Students (artists) make decisions and form ideas and opinions while learning how to value their own and everybody's work.
Second:
Colors: students (artists) should work on a different piece of paper, a color scheme designed with the information they gathered studying the psychology of color. Students should have decided based on notes and sketches of their story base, feelings, intended message, story, or ideas.
Third:
When painting or coloring; artists need to select with good intentions and practical knowledge of the media to be used, they should feel comfortable and happy, I mean, happy, about the media expression, how strong or soft, maybe how much texture or plainness they want to create and convey how comfortable they feel when at the moment of applying, when they engage in the actual physical activity of placing the colors.
During work, artists should demonstrate good intentions, care, attention to detail, careful use of tools and materials, research, and prior sketches.
It is important to keep color schemes nearby. The work of art can and/or should undergo modifications and adjustments during production of the art piece, and that is quite okay. To remind students that only the reflection of oneself is what they see on that surface, and like a mirror, the life of their minds and unique soul shows amazingly in their completed work, they are telling quietly the most beautiful story of one's life.
